100 Pipers is a Scotch whisky, the first blended whisky from Chivas Brothers, produced from a blend of 25-30 carefully selected malt whiskies.
This blended Scotch whisky takes its name from an old Scottish legend that says that when you drink a good Scotch whisky you hear the music of bagpipes. But if this is a truly good Scotch whisky, then you hear the sound of a hundred bagpipes. From this statement comes its name.
100 Pipers Tasting Notes
100 Pipers has a deep golden colour. On the nose, it offers a balanced aroma of oak with a subtle hint of sweetness. On the palate, it is a well matured whisky, with a light sweetness mingling with notes of oak, a gentle smokiness and nutty undertones, culminating in a lightly smoky finish.
