Description
Marañones is a red wine from the D.O. vinos de Madrid made from Grenache grapes by Bodega Marañones.
Red wine elaborated in the Sierra de Gredos and emblem of Bodega Marañones. The vineyards are 50 to 70 years old in granitic soil at an altitude of 750 and 850 metres above sea level and are organically farmed. The grapes are harvested and harvested by hand in boxes of 12 kg. The grapes are first cold macerated and then fermented in 33 hl. French oak vats. Ageing is carried out in used 500-litre French oak barrels for 12 months.
