Description

The Alion Magnum is an exquisite representation of the winemaking excellence of the Vega Sicilia winery.

This magnum captures the essence of Ribera del Duero, combining tradition and innovation in its production process. The 2020 vintage is especially notable for its balance and sophistication, offering a sensory experience that stands out among the best Spanish red wines.

Made with 100% Tempranillo grapes, meticulously selected from privileged vineyards, Alion 2020 reflects the unique terroir of the region. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging in French oak barrels for 12 to 14 months contribute to its distinctive character and exceptional quality.

Alion Magnum Tasting Note:

Color: Intense cherry red with purple reflections, showing great concentration and vivacity.

Aroma: The nose is rich and complex, with dominant aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries and plums, intertwined with notes of spices, cocoa and a touch of vanilla and toasted oak. Secondary aromas of tobacco and minerals provide depth and sophistication.

Taste: In the mouth, Alion 2020 is opulent and balanced. It presents a silky entry with flavors of black fruits, spices and a touch of dark chocolate. The tannins are firm but well integrated, offering a robust structure. The fresh acidity balances the richness of the wine, providing a harmonious and pleasant experience.
