Description

Bardos vineyards de Altura is a red wine made with Tinta Fina, Albillo Mayor and Garnacha in the D.O. Ribera del Duero by Bardos.

Extreme vineyards in Soria, between the towns of Alcubilla and Villavaro, with a long winemaking tradition. The area is located more than 950 meters above sea level, at the source of the Duero River, very close to the Urbion peak, which has a great influence on the climate of the region.

Old vines with low yields planted on sand and fine gravel soils on iron clays, surrounded by holm oaks, junipers and oaks.

Tasting note of Bardos Viñedos de Altura:

Very vibrant cherry red with violet nuances and layers.

Very fresh and complex aroma with fruity and spicy aromas.

In the mouth it is very pleasant, with ripe velvety tannins. Acidity combines with density to create a perfect balance. The aftertaste returns the freshness of the fruit.
