Niepoort Vintage 2015 is a highly regarded Port wine produced by the renowned Niepoort winery in the heart of the Douro Valley in Portugal.

This Vintage Port stands out as one of the best vintages of the house, reflecting the robust and complex character of the region's fortified wines. 2015 was an exceptional year for grape growing in the Douro, with optimal ripening of the grapes thanks to a warm and dry climate that allowed for concentrated flavours and aromas.

Niepoort Vintage Tasting Note:

Niepoort Vintage 2015 has a deep and intense purple colour, almost opaque, with violet reflections. Its dense and concentrated layer is typical of great young Port wines, indicating its power and longevity.

On the nose, it is an extremely aromatic wine, with an explosion of black fruits such as blackberries, plums and blackcurrants. Accompanying these fruity aromas, subtle floral notes of violets and spicy hints of black pepper, cocoa and liquorice emerge, giving it great complexity.

On the palate, the Niepoort Vintage 2015 is full, opulent and very structured. The tannins are firm but refined, with an excellent balance between sweetness and acidity, which provides freshness and elegance to the whole. The flavours of ripe black fruits linger on the palate, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, spices and a long, silky finish that promises a fascinating evolution over time.
