Description
AALTO PS is a red wine D.O. Ribera del Duero elaborated by Bodegas Aalto. A reference between the wines of this denomination. And so it has been recognized by national and international critics. It is not surprising the high scores (Parker, Tanzer, Peñín, Proensa) that this wine of limited production receives only to go to the market.
Aalto's tasting notes PS
AALTO PS is a very intense purple color. The nose presents complex aromas of licorice, spices, graphite, toast and tobacco, on a typical fruit base of the well-ripened Tempranillo.
In the mouth is wide, fresh and elegant, a very good expression of the vintage that was less forceful than the preceding but provides an excellent balance and finesse. The tannins are silky and well structured, melting with the wood in a sense of perfect integration. It is a long and harmonious wine that although it can be drunk now it will improve with the years of bottle gained in structure and complexity.
