Angostura Aromatic Bitters 200ml is an inescapable ingredient in the elaboration of many cocktails, it is used as bitter since its mission is to aromatize and to provide a characteristic bitterness point.

The history of this preparation dates back to Venezuela in the early NINETEENTH century, when an epidemic of cholera scourged the population of Angostura, named for being the narrowest area of the Orinoco River as it passed through Venezuela. The bitterness of Angostura was then conceived as a medicine to alleviate the sick, was created by Dr. Siegert, and was composed of more than 25 local ingredients, including fruits, roots, seeds, bark, etc.
