Description
Atlantik is a white wine made from 100% Albariño grapes by the Fillaboa winery in the Rías Baixas DO.
Two vineyards of the Fillaboa Estate contribute to the final blend, selecting the two freshest plots with an optimal ripeness that does not exceed 12% of volume.
These plots are characterised by their sandy loam soils, fertile and highly productive.
This wine is made exclusively from 100% Albariño grapes. The winemaking process involves an alcoholic fermentation under temperature control, starting at 14ºC and reaching about 16ºC. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out, and the wines remain in contact with the lees for a minimum of four months before bottling. No fining is used, only filtration and stabilisation prior to bottling.
Atlantik Albariño Tasting Notes
In terms of tasting, it has a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, clean and bright.
On the nose, it shows a medium intensity with aromas of very ripe fruit and citrus.
On the palate, it is smooth with a balanced acidity that leaves a very pleasant sensation on the palate. Atlantik 2022 is a fruity, young and fresh Albariño.
