Description
Cantayano is a white wine V.T. Castilla y León elaborated by ISAAC Cantalapiedra Winegrower. With a large family tradition of vine-grower behind him, this father and son began a couple of years ago the project to elaborate their wines.
This is a verdejo from the plots of "Las comas", "El Chivitero" and "Los Picos", located at an altitude of 750m in the municipality of La Seca, with an age of up to 30 years. Loamy clay soils with limestone outcrops and a mantle of pebbles, very poor in organic matter.
Cantayano 2016 Tasting note
Cantayano is a wine with a body, fruity with notes of hay and fennel. Clean and shiny. The breeding on Lias and a touch of wood makes it a complex wine.
