Bright golden in color, the Carmes de Rieussec 2016 presents an intense aromatic expression on the nose, with notes of apricot, honey, and hints of white flowers and vanilla.
On the palate, this Sauternes is sweet and silky, but with a well-integrated acidity that balances its sweetness. Flavours of candied fruit, melon and toasted almonds are combined with a mineral background, characteristic of the Sauternes terroir.
