Description
Champagne Soutiran Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a Champagne made from 100% Chardonnay grapes by Maison Soutiran.
The Blanc de Blancs Grand cru cuvée harbours a pleasant Chardonnay profile with fresh and maritime nuances, acquired through its exceptional terroir.
It has been aged for at least 9 years on lees to add smoothness and complex flavours. 25% of these Grand Cru Chardonnay grapes are vinified in Burgundy oak to enhance roundness and complexity.
Maison Soutiran, a 6-hectare family estate, is located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, in the village of Ambonnay, which benefits from the prestigious "Grand Cru" distinction. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are planted on hillsides with calcareous soils particularly rich in magnesium. This specificity of the village's terroir gives a minerality to the wines that is expressed through saline and iodine notes.
