Maison Soutiran, a 6-hectare family estate, is located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, in the village of Ambonnay, which benefits from the prestigious "Grand Cru" distinction. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are planted on hillsides with calcareous soils particularly rich in magnesium. This specificity of the village's terroir gives a minerality to the wines that is expressed through saline and iodine notes.
Soutiran Signature Grand Cru tasting notes
The nose combines aromas of stewed pears and vineyard peaches, with a touch of toast and aniseed.
The effervescence is creamy and smooth on the palate. Aromas of red and yellow fruits mingle with a chalky minerality that adds saline nuances.
