Four years in Bordeaux barrels and subsequent bottle ageing. The oak comes from a special selection of forests in France and Eastern Europe; most of the oak is first use oak, although some second use barrels were also included.
Old goblet-trained vineyards located on clay-ferrous terraces of the Alto Najerilla at high altitude, at the foothills of the Sierra de la Demanda and facing north.
Visual: Salmon colour with coppery notes and great intensity. Its high tonality stands out due to the prolonged passage of time and it also shows certain grey tones in the rim.
Nose: Fragrant and silky, very singular and with great character. Floral notes predominate, together with fruitier tones of grapefruit and orange peel. Balsamic and menthol notes are also perceived, giving a special freshness and hints of vanilla and hay.
Palate: Ample entry, very well balanced and ethereal sensations on the palate. Great length, subtlety and elegance. In the final sensations, stone fruits appear and tactile memories of great kindness remain.
