Description
Coto Mayor Reserva is a red Reserva wine that the El Coto De Rioja winery produces with the Tempranillo variety in the D.O.Ca. Rioja.
El Coto De Rioja is a winery that originated in 1976 and has the largest vineyard in the whole D.O.Ca. Rioja (Los Almendros estate). However, the winery has vineyards in all the sub-areas of this D.O.Ca. A way of showing all the typical features of La Rioja.
Coto Mayor Reserva is made from old vines that are well oriented and at a sufficient altitude to guarantee long hours of exposure to the sun. The grapes are harvested at the optimum moment of ripeness.
At least 18 months in American oak barrels refined in the bottle for at least another 18 months.
