Description
Los Yelsones is a red wine made from Tempranillo in the D.O.Ca. Rioja by Cuentaviñas and winemaker Eduardo Eguren.
Fifth generation of the Eguren family, a renowned name in the world of wine, which over the decades has consolidated its know-how through projects of recognised prestige: Sierra Cantabria, Viñedos de Páganos, Teso la Monja (...)
Tempranillo vineyard of (1970) South-East exposure with post glacial sedimentation soil (moraines) and a large amount of igneous matter, to which the Yelsones (calcium carbonate blocks) give a very fresh character and balance the vineyard.
Tasting notes of Los Yelsones
Intense garnet colour.
Very expressive nose, with mineral touches and delicate aromas of small red fruits such as raspberries, cherries and forest strawberries.
Very elegant on the palate, with a pleasant texture. Good structure and slightly citric freshness. The finish is long and persistent.
