Description
Cutty Sark is a blended Scotch whisky type created in March of the year 1923. This whisky was a small change in the conception of the whiskies of its range, since it introduced a characteristic that differentiated it: it was softer and lighter than the rest.
This blended whisky takes its name from a sailboat, built in 1869, which was the fastest in its time.
Cutty Sark is made in Glasgow, a few 10 miles from the place where the Clipper boat Cutty Sark was built in its time.
