Description
Davide is a white wine made from 100% Albariño grapes in the Rías Baixas D.O. by the Davide winery.
100% Albariño, grown on vines more than 25 years old located in the Salnés Valley, Galicia. These low production vines guarantee a high concentration and reflect the purity and typicity of the region. This Albariño comes from unique micro terroirs near the sea, characterised by sandy loam soils with fossilised seashells, which bring a mineral distinction and complexity to the wine.
At Davide, they take a thoughtful approach to viticulture, respecting and deeply understanding each vineyard to ensure the most honest and pure expression of Albariño. They use winemaking techniques that respect tradition and the uniqueness of each vintage. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts at 18°C for 20 days. Aged for 9 months in stainless steel tanks with frequent battonnage of fine lees and 2 months of refining in the bottle before release.
