Description
Dom Pérignon P3 Plénitude 1993 is an exceptional Champagne that needs no introduction, inviting you on a spatio-temporal journey that holds a new taste surprise every time.
Dom Pérignon is exclusively a Millésimé Champagne that is renewed every year. However, it also comes in three distinct stages of development and aging, each of which reveals the unique characteristics of the cuvée without ever giving up its personality. First, we find the first fullness, that of energy, which manifests itself after at least seven years of maturation on lees, known as the Vintage. The second stage, called P2, represents intensity, reached after a minimum of twelve years of maturation on lees, in which the wine's aromatic palette is magnified. The third and final stage, called P3, is reached after a minimum of 20 years of aging and is the stage of complexity and depth.
This 1993 Champagne Millésimé is a P3, third fullness version. The 1993 vintage was an early vintage, with early bud break due to a warm and stormy spring that allowed full flowering in the first half of June. Despite temperatures that remained average, the summer was notable for its abundant sunlight and dryness until the beginning of the harvest, resulting in an exceptional vintage.
Tasting notes of Dom Pérignon P3 Plénitude 1993
AROMA: The first nuances of dried herbs immediately give way to a bouquet with hints of cinnamon and candied grapefruit, complemented by notes of butter cookies and dried fruit.
Mouth: The sensations develop gradually, unfolding with voluptuousness and rhythmic precision. Initial density transforms into creamy fullness and delicacy lingers before culminating in a sappy note.
