Description

Domaine Leon Barral Tradition is a red wine made from Carignan, Red Grenache and Cinsault by Domaine Leon Barral in the French region of Languedoc-Rousillon.

Traditional work in vineyard and winery, ensuring the maximum expression of the terroir, where the Carignan variety is a symbol of "tradition", so this Tradition cuvée has a strong aromatic intensity.

Made from 60% Carignan, 30% Red Grenache and 10% Cinsault from different vineyards planted on steep slopes. Aged for 24 months in cement and stainless steel tanks.

In the heights of Faugères, specifically Lentheric, Didier Barral runs Domaine Léon Barral. Recognised as one of the leading exponents of French biodynamics, he farms his 13 hectares in an "artisanal" way with cattle.

Domaine Leon Barral Tradition Tasting Notes

Aromas of cherries, prunes and violets. The taste is intense, full of blackcurrant and wild strawberry flavours, with a hint of pepper. Long finish with ripe tannins.
