Description
Chateau du Tariquet is a distillery that has preserved its traditional methods over the years. To distill their uniquely flavored Bas-Armagnac, recognized as one of the best in the terroir region, they retain the use of traditional continuous wood stills.
This bottling is a blend of eau-de-vie made from 60% Ugni-blanc grapes and 40% Bacchus grapes, which are grown in the sandy, rocky soil of Gascony, famous for producing extremely rich Armagnacs.
TASTING NOTES
Color: Tariquet - Bas Armagnac V. S. O. P. presents a beautiful amber color.
Smell: strong aroma of prunes, we find a wealth of concentrated aromas, freshly baked bread, toast and gingerbread.
Flavor: so smooth and well rounded on the palate that there is just a hint of vanilla oak, with no trace of alcohol. good length with a touch of macerated stone on the finish.
