Description
Caire Monastrell is a red wine made from Monastrell grapes grown in vineyards aged between 25 and 30 years old. Due to the low annual rainfall in the area, the use of drip irrigation is essential. Winters are soft, with no winter frosts, exposure to low temperatures is never prolonged, spring usually arrives late and summers last almost until October. Harvesting begins in September and in some cases lasts until November.
Complete destemming of all the bunches, followed by fermentation in 25,000 litre stainless steel tanks. Controlled fermentation temperatures of around 24ºC. Aged for 6 months in barrels.
