Tasting notes of Estuche Alion + Abadía Retuerta Selección Especial

- Alion has a concentrated, dark colour, but with a luminous and seductive edge, typical of its few years of youth but seasoned in the wood. The aroma is revealed with an intensity that is rare in wines from the Ribera del Duero appellation. The roasted nuances of the grape and toasted luxury woods appear. On the palate, the sweetened tannins of concentrated black fruit combine with the sweet, creamy tannins of French oak. It is flavoursome, powerful, fleshy, with a truly suggestive display of nuances.

- Abadía Retuerta Selección Especial has an intense garnet-coloured robe. Notes of ripe red and black fruit (cherries, sour cherries, plums) to which are added balsamic and spicy aromas (liquorice) and those coming from sweet wood.
