Description
Murviedro case composed of 4 single vineyard wines:
Vallejo Avenas Chardonnay is a white wine, whose grapes come from a single plot that the winery owns in the district of Venta del Moro, with P.D.O. Utiel Requena. This is a single plot wine aged in oak barrels. The winemaking process is also particularly careful. The grapes undergo a very gentle pressing, the must ferments slowly in barrels at a low temperature and then the wine is aged for 6 months in 500-litre French oak barrels with its fine lees.
Cañada La Torre is a white wine from organic farming with the least intervention. Selection of the best Malvasia grapes. Harvest early in the morning in 15 kg crates. Gentle crushing, cold maceration for 12 hours. Alcoholic fermentation with natural yeasts at controlled temperature (18ºC) for 20 days in stainless steel tanks where it remains on its lees for six months. In French oak for 4 months before bottling.
Finca el Serrano is a red wine from Alicante PDO made with 100% Monastrell grapes by Murviedro. Throughout the year it enjoys a warm climate and the beneficial influence of the Mediterranean. The climate is continental in the mountainous inland areas. The soils are chalky, and therefore have a granulometry and texture particularly suitable for the extreme cultivation of vines. They are very poor soils that favour the ideal organoleptic ripening for our vineyard.
CV05 is a red wine from D.O. Valencia made with Cabernet Sauvignon by Murviedro. Throughout the year it enjoys a warm climate and the beneficial influence of the Mediterranean. The climate is continental in the mountainous inland areas. The soils are sandy and sandy, and therefore have a granulometry and texture that is particularly suitable for growing vines. The soils are highly porous and permeable, which facilitates drainage and prevents water retention.
