Description
Ferdinand's Saar Quince pays homage to the traditional British "sloes" but in this case substituting the traditional sloe for cultivated quince. The result is a sweet gin liqueur, perfect for a summer Gin and Tonic. Ferdinands Quince Gin can also be enjoyed alone with ice or mixed with champagne.
Its name comes from the Prussian royal family of the Forester District Ferdinand Gelts. Historical figure who was also co-founder of the VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer Zilliken, one of the best vineyards in Germany, which has produced excellent wines for 270 years.
The majority of the 30 botanical elements used in their formula are of local origin. Among them we find lavender, lemon-scented thyme, juniper, rosehip, angelica, hops flower, quince, almond shell, coriander, ginger and spices.
