Flor De Pingus 2021
D.O RIBERA DEL DUERO
Fine Ink
Description
Flor de Pingus is one of the most successful wines of the Dominio de Pingus winery and a benchmark among the wines of the Ribera del Duero appellation. Smooth on the palate, blackberries, blueberries, and notes of oak and mocha. Very fine and polished tannins. There is freshness and good balance.
The wine is made from carefully selected grapes from trusted growers. The concentrated, mineral personality of this drink offers a revealing glimpse of Sisseck's skill in creating Castilian reds. This label stands out as one of the most successful wines from the prestigious Dominio de Pingus winery, establishing itself as a benchmark in the Ribera del Duero appellation.
Dominio de Pingus, based in Quintanilla de Onésimo, Valladolid, has vineyards in the La Horra area of Ribera del Duero. This once modest and almost primitive winery has evolved into a fully equipped facility. Spain's most coveted wines are produced here, including the one that once held the title of the country's most expensive wine. In addition to its flagship Pingus, the winery also makes other notable wines such as Flor de Pingus and PSI, a more affordable but equally impressive option in its range.
