An Atlantic wine with continental influence. Ripe and fresh, expressive and serious, Gaba shows the virtues of the Godello grape and the uniqueness of the soils of evolution on slate.
A pioneer in the Valdeorras appellation, Telmo Rodríguez worked alongside the best and brightest before striking out on his own. This Godello offers a refreshing and enjoyable drink of wine.
Gaba Godello tasting notes
Especially fragrant, this wine exhibits fragrances of exotic fruits, citrus, pears, floral nuances and a suggestion of beeswax. In the mouth, it has an extremely velvety and delicately unctuous texture, enveloping flavors of spice, citrus with a hint of almonds, exotic fruits and vegetal nuances. It has a lovely fullness that encompasses the entire palate and concludes with a luscious, lingering finish, highlighted by notes of sweet spice and a fusion of fruit flavors.
