The Glenlivet was founded in 1824 and after the Second World War it became one of the most powerful distilleries in the area thanks to the high demand. In 2007 it was, in terms of sales, the first distillery of the United States and the second world-wide in the field of single malt.
The Glenlivet founders Reserve is aged in American oak barrels that have previously been used to produce bourbon and offer the resulting broth the typical notes of coconut and vanilla in both its aroma and flavor.

Glenlivet 12 years old has an aroma that offers an elegant character with fruit and floral notes, apricot, apples and pear. In the mouth leaves a silky texture in which clearly distinguishes touches of jasmine and fruits of the forest.
