Description
Glenmorangie A Tale of The Forest, a whisky born of a thousand forest walks.
Always fascinated by the sights, sounds and smells of the forests of his homeland, Dr Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie's chief creative officer, walks through the woods near his home. And every now and then he notices something new, whether it's the fragrance of the previous night's rain or the sound of leaves rustling in a particular way.
Captivated by the idea of a whisky steeped in the scents, sights and sounds of the forest, Dr Bill returns to an old-fashioned brewing method using botanicals such as juniper berries, birch bark and heather blossom.
The result is a single malt as lush and deep as the forest itself. Aromas of pine, juniper and coriander are laced with hints of smoke. Deep green eucalyptus notes, brightened by beams of bitter orange, lead to a slow, softly oaky finish.
It is a whisky that envelops and surprises your senses. Draw on the aromatic depths of the forest and let the flavours run through your palate.
