Description

Goyo García Viadero Finca Los Quemados is a red wine produced under the D.O. Ribera del Duero by the winemaker Goyo García Viadero with grapes of the Tinta del país variety.

This wine is forged from the careful harvesting of vines over 50 years old, located in the vineyards of Villanueva de Gumiel, in Burgos, at an altitude of 900 meters. The roots of these old vines are submerged in red sand and pebble soils, giving the wine a unique complexity.

The grapes are meticulously harvested by hand and then the bunches are manually destemmed and gently pressed. The must is fermented with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks, where it is macerated for three months. The wine is carefully aged for one year in French oak barrels, aged between eight and ten years. In the final process, the wine is bottled without filtering or fining, thus preserving all its authenticity and natural character.
