Description
The prestigious Poli distillery is an artisanal project exclusively owned by the Poli family, founded in 1898 in Schiavon, near Bassano del Grappa, in the heart of Veneto, the most typical region for grappa production.
Poli Sarpa Oro grappa has the Poli style, a refined balance between character and elegance. This style is obtained thanks to a modern use of the ancient copper still composed of small steam boilers with discontinuous cycle, one of the very few still existing in Italy.
This distillate is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot marcs. It is aged in 225 litre French oak casks.
Tasting notes of Grappa Poli Sarpa Oro Barrique
Colour: Bright golden.
Smell: Citrus and exotic fruit aromas can be appreciated. Sweet tones of vanilla and liquorice can be appreciated.
Taste: On the palate, the body is complex and fresh. Citrus and fruit flavours predominate, with sweet and toasted tones.
