Description
Poli Grappa di Sassicaia is produced from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grape varieties of the renowned Sassicaia wine from Tenuta San Guido, grown in the Tuscany region.
Distillation is carried out by an artisanal process in a copper still, using steam boilers in a discontinuous cycle. After this phase, the grappa ages for a period of 4 years in barrels, followed by an additional 6 months in oak barrels that previously housed the Sassicaia, thus giving it complexity, structure and distinction.
