Description
Jaime I is an excellent brandy made by Casa Torres, a family company founded in the year 1870 and is currently one of the most important wineries in the region of Penedés (Catalonia).
It comes from white wines of the varieties Parellada and fuck Blanche, distilled in copper stills, in a slow and sophisticated craftsmanship process. It has aged in the best barrels of American oak, submitting to a long ageing and enriched with the fronds of wood and sweet spices that provide the best soleras.
He has recently been awarded the Golden Medela in the world's Best Brandy 2015, as the best brandy in the globe.
Tasting notes of Jaime I
Jaime I is an exceptional jewel: pure Spirit incarnated in a matter of silk, ennobleded by the clean scent of the thinnest Hollands, several times distilled in copper still. His greatest secret is that he can boast an exceptional, unusual old age in a world that, led by emergencies, is about to forget the serene virtue of long ageing.
In their "assemblage" they enter superaged brandies. It is complex, Majestic, with a persistent end in which there are fine notes typical of the Mediterranean.
