The old-age whiskeys of this magnificent reserve come together with the still whiskey that has matured in carefully selected second-filled bourbon barrels to create a delicate sweetness in specially-charged port pipes. The result? A rich and glorious fruity character with an unmistakable finish to barley, the definitive expression that exhibits the sweetness of the firm Jameson.

Jameson Special Reserve 100 years 

Nose: A real aroma with a lot of body. Sweet at the beginning with notes of ripe fruits: melon, banana and dark meat plums. The distinctively specialised character of Alembic is combined to offer notes of molasses, cinnamon and licorice.

Palate: A sip of flavors. Delicate sweetness and toasted wood complemented with the richness of the characteristic fruit of the port barrels. The touch of creamy caramel and black chocolate adds to the complexity.

Finish: A long seductively finish that covers the whole spectrum, from the sweetness of the fruit, through the spices and even the unmistakable notes of barley, where it all began.
