Description
The Garnacha de Hielo is one of the few ice wines produced in Spain, and comes from the family vineyards of the Acha family in Cárdenas, harvested at the end of December with temperatures between five and ten degrees below zero.
At this point of the year, the grape is overripe, has a maximum concentration and it is a sweet wine of very exclusive production.
Tasting notes of the Garnacha de Hielo
Pale pink Color, with ochre notes provided by the Crianza and by a vintage in extreme conditions. Subtle and complex nose in which are conjugated quinces, oreillons and orange peel, with licorosas notes, light toast and aromatic herbs, changing the profile and surprising by the diversity of nuances. In the mouth it is a dense, fresh, glyceric and tasty wine, leaving a long aftertaste of fruit and liquor, as if it were a magical elixir.
