Description
Le Tribute mezcal is made from 100% Cenizo Maduro Silvestre agave, with the particularity that for every maguey harvested, two are planted, ensuring long-term production. In addition, 150% more agave is used than necessary to obtain a higher quality liquid.
The production process begins with the jima, which consists of cutting the leaves of the maguey, which is done at a size of 1.5cm to obtain a less bitter final liquid, although it is more expensive to produce. This is why LE TRIBUTE mezcal is considered "pure heart", as only the part of the plant with the highest quantity and quality of sugar is used.
The agave is cooked in traditional volcanic stone ovens, using holm oak wood to give the mezcal its characteristic smoky flavour.
The entire production process is handcrafted, from the harvesting and transportation of the maguey to the packaging and labelling of the final product. LE TRIBUTE mezcal is made in Mexico, in Durango, following traditional methods and regulated by the Official Mexican Standard NOM-D248G. The master mezcal maker in charge of controlling the process under LE TRIBUTE's exclusive recipe is Alan Hernández, and it is produced in the facilities of Bosscal Company, the brand's Mexican partner.
