Louis Roederer Brut Cristal Rosé Magnum 2006
D.O Champagne
Chardonnay Pinot Noir
Description
Louis Roederer Brut Cristal Rosé Magnum Is The 1,5L format of this gorgeous pink pastel pink champagne made during a very generous vintage as far as quality and quantity is concerned.
The smooth temperatures and low rainfall have allowed an optimal ripening of the grape. The origins of this champagne date back to the year 1974, when Jean-Claude Rouzaud decided to bet on a pink crystal. It is elaborated mainly with Pinot Noir grape from old vines along with Chardonnay, to a lesser extent. The calcareous soils where the vines are cultivated allow an exceptional ripening of the grape reaching the crystalline acidity and pure as desired. It matures for 6 years in the cellar and stays 8 months more in bottle after the disgorging.
Tasting note of Louis Roederer Brut Cristal Rosé Magnum
Louis Roederer Brut Cristal Rosé 2006 Magnum is Salmonado pink with bright and golden reflections. Smooth and regular effervescence.
Summer Bouquet of fresh fruits, sweetened and slightly acidulados at the same time (currant, peach of vine). The concentration and maturity of Pinot Noir is perceptible, with an air of "fruit liqueur" (raspberry) and nuances of toasted almonds and bread of spices.
The attack on the palate is voluptuous, intense and surprisingly light, at the same time. Round and fruity, concentrated, it rests on the fresh gredos and the molten tannins, but loaded, that reinforce the precision and the character of the wine.
The ensemble is very harmonious, magnificently integrated, giving the impression of a natural, refined and deep fullness simultaneously.
This Cristal Rosé 2006 expresses the ripe fruit of the vintage 2006 on the ground of the Finca Cristal Rosé.
