Description
Maker's Mark is the first Premium bourbon, lots of less than 19 barrels are produced. White oak barrels that are used only once, which are rotated to make sure they age in the same way. It uses red winter wheat, instead of the traditional rye, more bitter. Wheat is ground, instead of crushed. Instead of a pressure cooker, it is done on a low heat. Finally, it is bottled only when it has an optimum flavor, regardless of the ageing time, which is around 6 years.
The most surprising thing in sight is its bottle with a distinctive red sealing seal.
Maker's Mark Tasting Notes
When we open the bottle we find a distillate that offers a warm and rich aroma like caramel, vanilla and oak from Missouri. The flavor of Creme brulee dominates more subtle ones like vanilla, honey, caramel and brown sugar. Hot and long finish.
