Description
Malfy is an Italian gin made in Moncalieri, Italy, in a small family-owned distillery run by the Vergnano family.
Malfy Gin Originale is distilled with juniper, coriander and five other botanicals. It is blended with spring water from the nearby Monviso mountain, the highest altitude source of any spring in Italy. The base of the bottle is inspired by the mountain lakes and the colours of the label reflect the snow-capped peak.
Despite the popular belief that places the origin of gin in Holland, it is Italy that claims to be the birthplace of this delicious distillate.
Malfy Originale Tasting Notes
Malfy Original presents itself visually with a clear hue, similar to the crystal clear water of melting ice. The aroma is dominated by the classics of juniper, coriander and aniseed, which emanate strongly from the glass. On the palate, it offers a dry and fresh sensation, with juniper as the main flavour, followed by hints of aniseed and spicy coriander, providing a complex balance.
