Description
It comes from a single vineyard that bears its name and whose age exceeds 80 years. Its plantation is in glass, in calcareous clay soil of an average size of 0.30 hectares and an average yield of 4,000 kg/ha. It is manually collected in 15 kg boxes and is manually selected in selection tables. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tank with temperature control and malolactic fermentation in casks.
Pairing: Roast lamb, grilled red meats, stews, roasts, small game, cured cheeses.
Tasting note of
Intense cherry-coloured bright. On the nose it is notable for its ripe fruit aroma, sweet spices with a touch of creamy, earthy oak. Its passage in the mouth is tasty and enormously fruity. Ripe tannins mark their meatiness. Aged 12 months in fine-grained French oak.
