Description
Marqués de riscal viñas Viejas is a rosé wine from the Castilla y León V.T. elaborated by Bodegas Herederos del Marqués de Riscal. This rosé wine of natural bleeding comes from the best old vines in free standing, from the highest cascajosas terraces of the Douro River.
The varieties of Garnacha and Tempranillo combine perfectly to give the wine a fresh and round mouth, where the fruity aromas are enhanced by a few months of permanence in contact with fine lees of the Sauvignon Blanc variety that contribute to the wine freshness and Complexity.
Marqués de Riscal Viñas Viejas is a wine that contains the purest essence of the Garnacha and Tempranillo varieties since it has been elaborated with grapes from vines of more than 80 years cultivated in free standing, without grafting, where the sandy soils protected All the Vineyard of the phylloxera attack. The result is a limited edition of a rosé wine with which Marqués de Riscal has wanted to look to the past, revise its wine tradition and elaborate a avant-garde wine.
