The cognac MARTELL VSOP Médaillon ("Very Superior Old Pale") carries a gold medallion with the portrait OF Louis XIV engraving commemorating the year 1715, year that saw the end of the reign of the Sun King and the birth of the house Martell. This Cognac has been elaborated with ripe and skillfully mixed aguardiente from the four best cultivation areas in the Cognac region.
