Description
Menade La Mision is a white wine produced by the Menade winery with Verdejo grapes in the Rueda D.O..
The grapes are harvested by hand at night. Spontaneous fermentation with yeasts in stainless steel, followed by an ageing of 8-10 months in second and third year French oak, two new Burgundy vats and three amphorae made with clay from the estate's vineyards. The wine spends a minimum of two years in bottle before being released to the market.
The Sanz family has been cultivating vineyards and making wines in Rueda since the early 19th century. Pioneers in organic certification, their wines have surpassed all expectations thanks to their ingenuity, effort and quality. The spontaneity of their elaborations, the naturalness of their wines, the transmission of sensations and their unconditional support to ecology show their strength to recover the authenticity of the Verdejo and its most innate side.
Tasting notes of Menade La Mision
Complex, aromatic, electric in its energy, with a lot of discreet fruit and herbal complements, a touch of sweet apple, and cautiously discreet oak.
