The Macallan Double Cask 12 YearS mixes American and European oak casks. For The first time, The Macallan has chosen new American oak barrels and sent them to Spain to give them a hint of sherry. Later, the casks traveled to the distillery where whisky was ripened for 12 years.

The Macallan Double Cask 12 years is golden coloured. On the nose is soft, with notes of caramel, apple, candied orange, vanilla cream and touches of oak.
The mouth is light-bodied. Touches of oak and honey together with spices and citrus notes. Persistent, hot, sweet and dry finish.
