Description

CV05 is a red wine from D.O. Valencia made with Cabernet Sauvignon by Murviedro.

Vinos de Parcela are wines made from grapes from specific estates, generally small in size, selected for their characterful soils and particular climate. In these estates, the natural environment and the vineyards are intertwined to produce authentic oenological jewels.

At Murviedro, they have carefully chosen plots located on hilltops and surrounded by forests, with the aim of creating wines with their own identity, exclusive and limited production. These plots represent special places where the combination of soil, climate and natural environment come together to give rise to unique and distinctive wines.

The CV05 Cabernet Sauvignon plot is located within the Protected Designation of Origin Valencia, on the east coast of Spain. Throughout the year, it enjoys a warm climate and benefits from the favourable influence of the Mediterranean Sea. In both viticulture and winemaking, the aim is to intervene as little as possible to fully reflect the potential of the terroir.

Fermentation is carried out at a temperature of 25°C using the natural yeasts present on the surface of the grape skins, with gentle pumping over. After 15 days of maceration, the wine is pressed. Subsequently, malolactic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, and the wine is racked together with its lees for ageing for 4 months before bottling.

Tasting Notes of CV05

The CV05 Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium-high red colour with violet tones.

Its aroma is intense, with a predominance of fruity aromas reminiscent of red fruits, over a spicy background.

The palate faithfully reveals the terroir from which it comes. Its entry on the palate is friendly, ample, slightly warm, with silky tannins.
