Description
Narupa Piorno is a white wine made from 100% Albariño grapes in the D.O. Rías Baixas by the Narupa Vinos winery.
Narupa Piorno comes from inland vineyards 16 kilometres from the sea in the D.O. Rías Baixas. They are 50 year old vines planted on sand and clay soils of granitic origin, using healthy viticulture methods based on biological treatments without the use of chemical products. In the vineyard, the grapes are pressed and cooled for 30 hours. The grapes are then pressed and destemmed, and the resulting must is fermented in barrels with local yeast for about 10 months.
Narupa Piorno Tasting Notes
This is an excellent white wine with an intense aroma of white and tropical fruits, flowers and a touch of vanilla. Serious, fresh and complex in the mouth. A round wine with a very balanced acidity and a pleasant long finish.
