Description
Occhipinti Il Frappato is a red wine made with Frappato grapes in the PGI Terre Siciliane by the Occhipinti Winery.
Il Frappato was born with the aim of making a wine that tastes of the land it comes from and the air it breathes. Il Frappato is bittersweet, optimistic and elegant.
4 hectares of vineyards planted with 50 year old Frappato di Vittoria vines. Here, the vines surround the limestone bedrock of the region, the vines are over 20 years old and the estate, which overlooks the vineyard, is able to absorb all the solar energy of Iblei.
Arianna Occhipinti, who planted her first vineyard at the age of 22, is now 30 years old and her natural wines are already considered some of the best natural wines in the world. The winery is located in the southern part of Sicily, very close to the city of Vitoria, and has 10 hectares of vineyards with organic viticulture.

Elegant fruity and floral nose with notes of toffee, red rose, redcurrant, plum, pink pepper, myrtle and sweet tobacco.
