Description
Occhipinti SP68 is a red wine made from Frappato di Vittoria and Nero d'Avola grapes in the PGI Terre Siciliane by the Occhipinti Winery.
In Sicily, Italy, there is another route that was originally a narrow stone road three thousand years ago. This route is SP68. Some might think it is nothing special, but if you know anything about Sicilian wine, you will know the road. This is the oldest wine route. The soil of Arianna Occhipinti is hand-cultivated and rich in substances that contribute to the optimal development of its young vines, which do not grow too big to absorb the heat of the earth.
Arianna Occhipinti, who planted her first vineyard at the age of 22, is now 30 years old and her natural wines are already considered some of the best natural wines in the world. The winery is located in the southern part of Sicily, very close to the city of Vitoria, and has 10 hectares of vineyards with organic viticulture.
