Description
Orben Wine comes from a selection of 79 microplots of less than half a hectare, all planted in glass between 1945 and 1954 in the vicinity of Laguardia. An overwhelming majority of Tempranillo in this carefully prepared and imaged red wine, which achieves a new sealing thanks to its fruity expressiveness, consistency and structure, elegance and good persistence. A wine with an ageing capacity.
Orben 2019 Tasting Note
Beautiful cherry-red colour very ripe with intense garnet edging, very covered with a layer. Aromatically It is complex and very fragrant.
On the nose there are notes of very ripe black fruits (blackberries and sloe), lactic, spices (vanilla) and noble Wood (cedar) memories. Close the aromatic tour with touches of chocolate and a soft smoked bottom.
In the mouth it shows powerful, fleshy and well defined. Endowed with a magnificent structure and ripe tannin, noble and varietal, that merges with the whole, displaying a broad and character step. Excellent tactile sensations. Flavorfully, develops a great load of ripe and greedy fruit, well assembled with pleasing toasted memories from a careful cask ageing. Long and complex final persistence, marked by memories of ripe black fruit and by specialised backgrounds.
