Description
Orben Barrel Fermented White Chocolate is a limited edition white wine made from a blend of several vintages of Bodegas Orben de la Rioja.
VINEYARDS: Multisingle plots in the area from Villabuena to Laguardia.
VARIETIES: 90% Viura and Malvasia, 10% White Tempranillo and White Garnacha.
WINE MAKING: Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes and selection of clusters at the table. Fermentation and ageing in different continents: concrete egg, 500 litre barrel and 225 litre barrel.
TASTING NOTES: Intense yellow colour with bright edges and greenish reflections. Fine notes of flowers and ripe stone fruits, such as apricot and plum, slight toasty touches. In the mouth it is ample and oily, with good acidity and very persistent.
