Each precisely cut slice has an immense, aromatic flavour that melts on contact with the mouth due to its outstanding meatiness and refinement.

The secret of the Peperetes pickled mussels lies in the preparation of the sauce, made from olive oil, vinegar, paprika and salt. Once the sauce has been prepared, the cleaned and cooked mussels are fried in olive oil and then the bay leaf, pepper and cloves are added.
